Today, I had an adventure in Denver making new friends and visiting with old ones.
Enjoy!
8:57 a.m.-- Headed South on I-25 to go to a painting class that I thought was at 10 a.m., it wasn't until I got to Denver that I learned that my Canvas and Cocktails class was at 2 p.m.
10:17 a.m.-- Once I found out my class wasn't until later, I contacted Brent to see what he was up to, he was headed to brunch with his friend Ethan and they said I could join them. Ethan picked a nice little brunch place called The Local (which I can't find the website for, it was on the menu but I didn't pay attention).
11:45 a.m.-- After bunch, we stopped by Ethan's to see his chicks, they were pretty adorable and we were all pretty captivated watching them.
12:29 p.m.-- After about 45 minutes, I told Brent we should probably leave the chicks. One last photo so you can see how cute they are.
1:28 p.m.-- Before this I stopped at REI to order/buy the new bike I want but I got nervous I couldn't make it back to get Liz and go to our painting class; so instead I left REI and went to get Liz. While I was waiting for her I noticed this tandem bicycle, it made my think of tandem kayaking, which I'm pretty sure is the fastest way to a divorce- not sure what a tandem bike leads to...
1:53 p.m.-- Before getting started with my painting! I was so excited!
2:48 p.m.-- We're just getting started, green background: check.
3:17 p.m.-- Here is Liz, hard at work on her bicycle!
3:33 p.m.-- Liz snagged this photo of me, I'm hard at work painting my spokes!
4:02 p.m.-- Done! And looking pretty great!
4:50 p.m.-- Back at REI, trying to buy this bicycle. They didn't have it in my size, but Boulder has the smallest size that Surly makes, so I'm going to visit there on Tuesday to see how it fits.
5:25 p.m.-- Headed home via I-25, I actually don't like driving to and from Denver this way, and this picture is way (traffic); thankfully the traffic didn't last long.
